Michael Kay is an Entrepreneur and a Partner in Delta Payment Solutions LLC, and Delta

Payment Cooperative Inc. - merchant processing organizations that are based in Massachusetts.

Delta is constructively disrupting the merchant processing industry by providing transparency,

equal access to products and services, and group buying power which level the playing field for

all merchants. Processors and their independent sales organizations have made fee structures more

complex and less transparent, difficult to understand, and expensive. Delta’s goal is to make it easier

for merchants to know they are optimizing their relationships with customers and vendors while

maintaining control over costs. Michael leads the sales and customer service efforts within Delta.


Beginning in the early 1980’s, Michael had executive sales roles in technology-oriented

companies Lexitel, MCI Telecommunications and Qwest Communications. In the early 1990’s

Michael owned and led consulting practices focused on communications technology and class

action recovery. In the early 2000’s, Michael began his career in the credit card processing industry,

first with independent sales organization (ISO) relationships and then followed by senior sales

positions with Bank of America and Heartland Payment Systems. Most recently and prior to joining

Delta, Michael was with Worldpay as a National Sales Director.

Getting Personal

Michael received a BS in Business, with majors in both Accounting and Computer Science from

Oakland University. Michael enjoys traveling worldwide, working out, walking his dog and spending

time with his life-long friends. Michael is married to Sonya and they have three adult children, Joshua,

Blake and Sergey.
